Grind is crucial. It is often a missing factor in coffee processing knowledge. The grind ensures that the size and texture of the coffee grounds are best suited for the brewing equipment. The grind is also effected by environmental factors which is one of the reasons that your espresso machine should be partnered with its own grinder. Espresso, ideally, should be ground per cup and adjusted regularly to ensure the highest quality of extraction.
We recommend purchasing separate grinders for your regular espresso, decaf espresso, and your drip coffee.
