Storage

Preserving the quality of your coffee purchase is important. We recommend freezing the beans and grounds in an airtight, sealed container or bag. Coffee is affected by heat and air, especially the oils in the bean. it is similar to other food products and subject to the same natural processes. Freezing slows the aging process of the coffee, but does not dry out the oils in the beans. Freezing solidifies the coffee bean oils and dramatically slows the deterioration process. The oils will resurface when the beans are allowed to set at room temperature. We also recommend not leaving your coffee in the refrigerator where it is subject to absorbing the aromas and flavors of other food products.

Our recommendation to you:

Preserve the freshness - Freeze the bean
